It should be noted that, back in Bapu's day, they used to call Reading, Writing and Arithmetic the "Three R's" so maybe things haven't deteriorated as much as they seem...

I got 14.
 
But technically one was a spelling error, so I deducted one from the test people for not knowing the difference between spelling and grammar.


I got one wrong too and it was spelling.

Wait a minute. When you had choices of words that were spelled correctly but only one was to be used in context, is that really ONLY a spelling issue?

You can knock off a mark for starting a sentence with 'and'.
