Hi guys!

I just had to share my two cents on a plugin I got yesterday. The Klanghelm SDRR. It's a saturation plugin. But what a beast of a saturation plugin and it only costs 22EUR! You guys really need to check this one out.
I found out via an article where they listed the 13 best plugs under 30 bucks (http://m.musicradar.com/news/tech/13-of-the-best-vst-au-plugin-effects-under-30-605327/2#next). And they really werent kidding. This is a plug I will use a TON. And no crappy licensing, dongle or whatever, seems to be able to install on any of your machines. The sound it makes is awesome!

I also got this one while I was at it:

That one was great as well. Highly recommended.

Will probably get their compressor as well since it has gotten tons of raving reviews. Just felt wrong to spend more money on plugs this month.. Hehe...

You guys probably knew about these, but if theres anyone who didnt, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Thanks Metz, I'll take a look.

I just jumped on to buy the Klanghelm VU Meters (8 euro) and swung past the forum :).

I'm also gonna grab the HoRNet VU Meter - 40% off for another day and cheap as chips (2.39 euro). The HoRNet sale seems to happen every month  - I picked up Deelay (4.79 euro) and Autogain Pro (13.20 euro) last month. The VU Meter also appears to include an autogain feature. Whilst I'm yet to figure it all out the concept makes sense to me and further ratified by this post.

I love SDRR!!! I use it quite frequently. Tony Frenzel's plugs are great. The DC8C compressor is also a go-to for me and the VU meters are always on my master bus.

I'm with Shellstax: grab the VU meters too.  They're very good, not expensive, and will do your gainstaging/mixing a world of good!!

Best of luck with you music.

I emailed Klanghelm support btw. Not that theres a problem with their products that I have encountered but I wanted to know if it was possible to get the needle to be even more responsive in the VU meter. He replied instantly letting me know he was on vacation in Denmark but will look into it as soon as he is back.
Now thats good support!

... but I wanted to know if it was possible to get the needle to be even more responsive in the VU meter ...

Have you played with the Settings (SET button - top right)?

[UPDATE]:
I also found the Digital Display output (current/peak) by clicking on the clip LED.
So I thought I had better find some instructions ... http://www.klanghelm.com/docs/VUMT_manual.pdf :).
Turns out you can click anywhere (horizontally) at the bottom of the VU Display to bring up the Digital Display output.

Other tidbits too like:
- Changing the the VU/PPM scale with click-drag on the value.
- Click the VU Display Border to get an orange needle Peak Level ghost.

Yeah Ive played with the settings. It just felt like the "framerate" of the needle or whatever you'd call it isnt as high as I would like it to be. But it could totally be an issue with my graphicscard as well since Ive had some other issues. Stuff like Waves plugins not being very smooth as well.
