I think I'll bite on this one. Any opinions?

It looks like a good price ... but for another $21 you can have Valhalla Vintage Verb or Valhalla Room, each of which is a far superior product IMHO.  Demo 'em and see for yourself ... have fun!

Oh, here's the Valhalla site:  http://www.valhalladsp.com/

Cheers,

TrueVerb is decent....not the best reverb...but decent...

After discounts will be about $24 at JRR Shop...

I've got Valhalla and it is my go to but I was wondering if this would be a different color, so to speak.

I like TrueVerb and think for $24 or so it's a great value.

From what I remember from my time demo'ing it, Trueverb really isn't your typical reverb and I wouldn't consider it as an alternative to Lexicon or Valhalla.

It always stroke me as putting the emphasis on the spatial/room aspect of things, rather than on lush tails and such.

Not that you could do that with other reverbs, as long as they let you work the early reflections and all of that. But Trueverb seemed to me to be more akin to the old Cakewalk FX3 Room Thingie. That's my perception of it, anyway.

That's a great description Rain, ol pal.  I like it on rooms and room treatments.  And it is a bit of a different verb.

Interesting description, Rain. I'm actually looking for a more ambiance/ER type of verb for some tight acoustic tracks and maybe this might be worth a try. For $24 I can't really go wrong.
