I'm able to login but this laptop has biometrics, a fingerprint scanner. There is an icon in the upper left corner of a page unless I am logged whether I use the scanner or no. Since Cake updated the site with the merge signin or whatever they did, this is the only site where the icon will not disappear if I am logged in. I don't like it, I move it out of the way but the only way to make it go away is to disable the "Simplepass" fingerprint scanner.
Good luck with your login. I don't know what changed but it is different from other sites now.
 
edit> Frankly, I am not sure if my accounts are merged or not. I was logged into the forum and went to my account and had to login there. I used the "I have an account" and entered all the info, it told me my username is not available, so I just logged into my account the usual way, I am confused as to the purpose of all this. Confused about whether my accounts are merged. I'm not sure if I care. What happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I was on vacation when all of this went down and all I had with me was the iPad. From the iPad, it would not allow me to merge the accounts, I don't know why. Got home late last night and merged them on the Studio desk top with out any issues, same exact process as tried on the iPad.

Interestingly I haven't heard a peep from Cake.  I've sent them two emails and two "feedbacks" about it but so far...crickets.

Did you check the newly installed muffler bearings myolpal?
