I think I've bought Chord Chemistry 3 times....and yet it's currently nowhere to be seen. I've got a copy of Modern Chord Progressions though.

There's a Ted Greene clinic on YouTube. Regardless of what you may or may not learn from this, it has to be said that he was a mesmerizing guy to listen to, and his guitar playing was absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for posting that Sharke. I was a Chord Chemistry devotee back in the day also. Great book .

The video was great. Don't think I've ever seen/heard Ted before. Hah.. Quite the orator. That version of Autumn Leaves is pretty mind boggling incredible.

Yeah I was stoked to find that on YouTube a couple of years ago, I had also never heard or seen him aside from that photo of him on Chord Chemistry where he kind of looks like Captain Caveman. I like the way he moves when he plays as well, it looks like he has all this pent up musical energy which is dying to come out.

Chord Chemistry is very inexpensive and easily found on eBAY-used or the new version (same book? w/new cover?).
$11.79/new is a total bargain! Also, I found lots of them on Amazon.

His long term partner also wrote a book about living with him;
My Life with The Chord Chemist: A Memoir of Ted Greene, Apotheosis of Solo Guitar by Barbara Franklin  (Nov 24, 2009)
 and then Premier Guitar just had this article on him

I appreciate that all your comments and enthusiasm led me to finding out that I can easily buy a new copy, now. They used to be rare/hard to find. So, thanks to all for resonating all of our appreciation and enthusiasm for Ted Greene's genius, playing (and videos), and book.  This
