Has Bapu been replaced by an app of some kind?

Instead of Yo, we seem to be getting getting a volley of pithy non sequiturs.

Just been watching AHDN. It hasn't aged well, although Ringo was a natural in front of the camera.

We must be full of pith and vinegar.

I enjoyed it on the big screen.  Granted, it wasn't IMAX, but I thought it looked good.  I love movies that are filmed monochrome.  I noticed a few bits that I hadn't previously--or I didn't remember.

I prefers my literature simple.

Yellow River, by I. P. Frehley

Ace's relative?

I wonder if he's ever read Rape at the Gas Station by Hoo Pumped Ethel or Under the Stands by Seymour Butz?

Yes. This year marks the 50th anniversary release of the movie. If you can't see it at the theater re-releases, you can get the latest released version of the movie in BluRay (Criterion Collection, 2014 release). Includes:

New 4K digital film restoration, approved by director Richard Lester, with two audio options—a monaural soundtrack and a new 5.1 surround soundtrack made by Apple Records—presented in uncompressed monaural and DTS-HD Master Audio on the Blu-ray.

Plus a lot of extras. 5.1 mix by Giles Martin (Love).

I just received mine but have not had a chance to watch as yet. I would like to see it on the big-screen though, but it does have limited theater showings.

One of my main questions about the film, which I believe occurs at the beginning (opening scenes perhaps?), is where the lads are running down the street being chased by crazed fans, and George takes a face-dive splat on the sidewalk. He gets up and continues running, but "Ouch!". That had to hurt. I can't believe it was an intended stunt. Wonder if he did get hurt?

From IMDB:

George Harrison stumbles and falls during the opening sequence of the group running down a street towards the camera. This wasn't intended and he ripped the suit he was wearing, but as he quickly recovered, laughed and continued running, it was decided to retain the shot in the film.
