I guess there's only room for one outfit selling overpriced, overrated sub-par products.

One article says Beats owns "60% of the high-end headphone market". Did I miss a product announcement? When did they start selling high-end headphones?

I think the suit's real impetus is that Beats is being bought by Apple, so they've got money now.

I expect that "high-end" means expensive--not necessarily high quality.

I expect that "high-end" means they can't produce "low-end" correctly.

It had to happen. Eventually.

When did they start selling high-end headphones?

High end of the low hanging fruit.

You know, consumers.

Hi,

For 25 years I had a Sony set of headphones that originally cost me $200 dollas. And that thing was nice, and very good at both the high and the low end!

Alas, it died ... I need a new headset!

It is because of the people who buy the product. Yes, the Rappers, Trance, and other type people who want - boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom straight bass drum beats in their head.
Has nothing to do with actual hi-fi sound which has a ratio of 500,000 between the high frequency and the low frequency for balance of the sound so it is in the end - hi-fi.

Then all you get are people who don't want to listen to that kind of sound and only use radios in the end and lo-fi sound keeping music in the background and never in the foreground again.

Hi,

Anyone have any good suggestions about headphones that can handle Tangerine Dream as good as they can Hawkwind, and Gong, and Carmen (of course, or Bapu would be bummed at me!), and ... you know ... the usual crap!
