You may remember forum member Randy Bowser's (rbowser) musical that played in Moscow a few years ago and got great reviews. He is now producing a play about the life of Boris Karloff. It's endorsed by the Karloff family and will be presented in October, in Salem, Oregon. If you'd like to support this endeavor, there is a Kickstarter campaign going on to help finance it. I remember him quite well for everything that's mentioned above, but most of all, I remember him as the GPO guy!!  

Yes, Randy was around a lot when I first joined. Did a nice collab with him and a few other guys. Expert MIDI orchestrator.

Yes he taught me stuff about midi. As a result I started using it more.

Randy helped many of us with MIDI and The Garritan software products. A nicer gentleman can not be found!

Well it looks like it's off to a good start.
