Hi,
Not my style, per se. I think I like things a bit more ethereal, and not so "realistic". Not sure why, though something like Picasso's Guernica is all too real for me, and it might have to do with my family's history in Portugal.
Try this one:
http://www.pedrosena.com/manuela.htm My sister has been an artist for 40 some years and has had exhibits all over Europe. I have been trying to get a better portfolio put together for her, because it does not have the "history" of international shows that she has done, and if those were listed, I think she would get a better credit for her work.
Enjoy it
We've had discussions about our art! Mine is fast and flows fast, and I just wrote, often not knowing what I am writing. Hers is more deliberate, slow, and I asked her if the painting changed from day to day ... yep! Sometimes it's hard maintaining focus when it's being done. Something like the material above, is far easier as the details are already existing, and you merely fill in the frame, so to speak. It's more like a photograph, as opposed to trying to show you something that you are not capable of describing, but this is the best you can do, kind of thing.
I have tried to compare this in music, and musicians, but I think this is a highly sensitive area that many have not studied enough to know how they feel about it, is how I interpret it.
