As you might know, today (July 20th) marks the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Artist Louise Gold has made a tribute soundtrack singing John Lennon's "Oh My Love" with the heartbeat of Neil Armstrong setting the pace and the audio frequency sounds evolved from data collected by the Voyager spacecraft as it passed Venus. You can read about the tribute and see the music video over at CNet (http://www.cnet.com/news/astronauts-lunar-heartbeat-lives-on-in-beatles-cover/).

I was 8 years old when this occurred. I remember sitting in front of the TV watching the moon landing and then Neil and Buzz walking on the surface. It is hard to believe it has been that long ago.

I must remember to moon someone in tribute tomorrow.
(And I also recall sitting in front of the TV watching this!.)

I was 6.  I don't specifically remember watching Neil's excursion live, I certainly remember replays.

I do remember watching live from Apollo 15 and on (well, there were only 2 more after 15...).  Apollo 15 was the first Lunar Rover mission.  I remember it well.

Because you thought "Rover" was the first dog on the moon?
