I have to echo cecelius2 - I have all the older libraries so $99 to get 64bit and a usable GUI was the trigger for me.

In another thread I said I found the "3d instrument" graphics useless, but I somewhat recant. I did actually look at them and the info when I came across a couplenof instruments I knew nothing about. Not a feature that will tempt someone on the fence but nicer than my initial impressions. It could prove very handy for an exotic instrument expansion.

It's good to see the thoughts expressed here.   I'm starting to amble slightly toward the fence from my sitting entirely on the sidelines.

First, I have Amplitube, and of the several amp sims I have, I'm finding Amplitube to be a great experience for guitar sounds.  I recognize Sampletank isn't in the same category, but I'm thinking IK Multimedia has probably done some cool things in Sampletank 3.

Second, I'm starting to get intrigued enough to start looking at some of the demos, and of course that's quicksand.

Fortunately I have no cash, so it probably won't happen.  Sometimes the draw becomes very apparent and rationalization sets in as to why it may be okay to rob Peter to pay Paul because of a limited time and substantial discount.   I'm in the early stages of assessing my appetite to rationalize when I have no funds.

I have purchased the upgrade but as I am away I have not had a chance to look at it yet.

My prime motivation was to get Miroslav into a decent, 64bit, interface. The remodeled Miroslav instruments with key switches may be useful.

Miroslav still sounds pretty good and its different enough from my Kirk Hunter libraries to be useful. I am hoping it will be a lot lighter on resources.

I am not expecting to be blown away by the new sounds but I am hoping there will be something useful in there.

since this morning I am starting to warm up more to the faders on the mixer.  They are actually smoother than they initially seem
