Stay where you are and be happy, Jim. In BC you get the best of both worlds. The same laid-back attitude (mostly), clean air (mostly), proximity to water and seafood, greenery and of course BC Bud. And free French lessons on the back of every cereal box. You can always pop on down the road any time for a visit - apparently a popular option judging from all the BC plates I see at the mall.
Right on Bit! Pretty proud of our BC bud - that's for sure. Only do a tiny fraction of what I once did, but still top notch.
I honestly thought we'd beat your 1st 4 states in legalizing it, because our previous Prime Minister Jean Chretien was all ready to do so, until President George Dubya Bumble-feck the hypocrite stopped him from doing so.
Kind of ironic considering his past, not to mention the all too well known 'failed war on drugs'.
Thanks for the open invite - I rarely ever cross the line, but I know that so many do, for shopping mostly.
Hate the French on the other side of every box - everywhere. Why? Because almost every time I pick up a cereal box [or any other], I always seem to end up on the French side, only to have to turn the damn thing.
Quite annoying after 53 years - especially since most of us don't even speak French in Canada. Certainly way less than 50%. If anything, our 2 or maybe even 3 official languages will soon be English, Chinese, [actually Mandarin], and East Indian - [probably Punjabi].
I remember seeing a comedian talk about this. Apparently it has to do with most people being right handed, and they way we unwittingly grab & turn the packages to read them.
Maybe I should have kept up with my ambidextrous practices in school. If I had, maybe I'd be lefty by now, and not have this dang problem anymore.
