As do I.  Will the new installer work with them (9.2) or do you need to download the new plugins as well?  And if so will all your 9.2 plugs work even if non-WUPed??

This is awful. How do I roll back and get rid of this mess. Lost all my Waves plugins.

While I wouldn't recommend doing this yet just to get the rack plugin, after I ran the WOLI install of the latest plug version (r19) -- which it says you need in order for the rack to work -- I can still use all my Waves plugs, even the non-WUP ones.  But be careful ... still seems to be a risky move.

I had to re-run the WOLI install for the r19 plugs with the "repair" option after going through it the first time.  If that fails, there's an uninstall option in there as well, after which you can try a re-install.  Good luck!

I think I'm going to stay away from this one.  If it is messing up this bad on VSTs, no telling what it will do to AAX plugs.

It's tucked away safely on my hd. I'll just continue waiting. I can certainly live without it. As much as I like most of my WAVES stuff this has certainly been a cockup of the first order.

woah been out of town ... alot of movement lol ...

Guyz simply before anything : BACK UP
with waves since it cncernns a majority of my plugins i'm like "milk on fire" with them !!! always last in install process ;)

So in this case , seems according to feeback in GS that the last installer solve a lot of issues (issues mainly with PT) ...
Again for those that want to try : BACK up ! first ....  in person i will try on a old laptop ...;) even with back up !!

Just to follow up to my earlier note about getting StudioRack to work in Harrison Mixbus, after running another VST scan it suddenly started working there in a limited way -- I can't bring up a plugin's GUI within the rack, but I can define a chain in another DAW like Sonar, assign controls to the rack's knobs, etc., save it to the preset menu, then within Mixbus I can load that preset with the controls assigned like I wanted.  Neat!

Even if you can't add non-Waves plugins to this rack (still unclear on this point), this might be a useful tool for those who work with Waves plugins in multiple DAWs.  Now, if only Waves could simplify their plugin architecture ...

The ability to add other plugins is supposed to be forthcoming according to Gattai at Waves...

Is there a desperate need for something like this if one only uses Sonar? What can this do for Sonar that Sonar can't do itself?
