I use media monkey to make CDs and when I accidentally have a bounce muted and export it, I get a full track of silence on the CD.

Media Monkey is what I use for my large music collection - it's great!  I've actually never tried to burn a CD with it, I guess I'll have to try that.  It certainly puts iTunes to shame.

It should be silent...

My theory is that you have the "normalize" option checked in your CD burning software. Double check your settings & turn off normalize...

And reward yourself with a pulled pork sammich.

And by NOT watching that Yoko Ono clip posted elsewhere on the forum....

Yep, I've had a gold - unlimited account for a decade or so. I really like Media Monkey. It's useful for adding CD Text as well so the song names show up in car CD players etc.

I will say that I have not been impressed by the MP3s produced by MediaMonkey. I use Lame to make mp3s.

I should add it's probably  been more than 5 years since I've considered using Media Monkey's MP3 creating tool.

Who knew that NOT making music could be so hard???

It's part of trying to keep you compliant to all those social rules! You can't go around doing your own thing or ideas!
