I agree. I know people that were riders and the vast majority of the riders were doping. Since Lance was the most tested person on the planet and always came out clean, I defended him right to the end when details of
how he avoided detection came out. Other top riders that got caught, apologized and went on with life I have no problem with. I even have a tenant that moved to Spain several years ago to ride on one of their teams, but quit when he was pretty much told he would have to dope to ride.
I got the joke, but didn't know if you knew that the U.S. really do have a couple of the top GC contenders this year (which is wide open now that the defending champion, Chris Froome, had to abandon and Contador isn't doping any more). The two U.S. contenders are Tejay van Garderen and Andrew Talansky though both have lost time over the last two days due to crashes.
