returning from a hiatus to try and set up an fa 66 with sonar 6. i am using a pair of CAD condenser mikes(LD) and running windows XP.

signal levels from the mikes seem very low even with the sensitivity controls and output conrols at 80% the levels are low in both the headphones and in the recorded track image. seems low when i play back the recording as well.

i've read that low levels are common to this interface but this seems extreme to me.

any guidance would be appreciated.
