Major credit for this issue goes to editor David Baer, whose computer crapped out just as he was getting ready to format the articles for publication. Yet, he still managed to coordinate the issue with all the contributors via his smartphone, and then likely put in some long hours to get it all assembled. I know he must dread getting my verbose submissions with all their screenshots, but he never complains.
 
I'd also like to add a shout out to Mr. Meldaproduction, Vojtech Meluzin over in Prague, CZ. No matter how much I pester him with questions he always replies right away with concise answers. Seven days a week, too. I don't think the guy sleeps. Although I'm currently testing just how much patience he has with the article I'm working on for the September issue. After that one's done I promised to go pick on somebody else for awhile.

I didn't know about this, thanks for posting, I will definitely check it out

Thanks for the kind words, CC.  I should probably give you a heads up, though.  In the next issue (September), I'm scheduled to review Sample Tank 3.  Just be forewarned - I might be saying some very nice things about it.

Thanks for the kind words, CC.  I should probably give you a heads up, though.  In the next issue (September), I'm scheduled to review Sample Tank 3.  Just be forewarned - I might be saying some very nice things about it. 

Honestly, I wouldn't expect anything less...there's not doubt it will be a decent product...

Sadly, from a company who's business practices and treatment of customers is last on their
priority list....and making money IS on the top...

It is, sadly, a fact, that GAS wins over common sense, logic, reason (not the DAW's) and anything else
for that matter...

So that being said...as everyone eagerly waits in anticipation of their Pre-Order of this "more the 10 years in the (screwing with, and THE, Customer) making" flagship sampler that has been so meticulously and elegantly sampled with every conceivable Mic and instrument that has ever been made in the history of history....


Oh  yes...and let's NOT forget those ever important, and highly touted, "STUNNING 3D ICONS!!!"

I don't know...I think we're all nuts to just keep handing these companies money while they slap us in the
face and tell us how much would should enjoy it...but that's just me...

...end of story bye bye... =P

This seriously puts many of the industry whore mags to shame. When I look at most mags it is very clear where there ad dollars come from.

dmbaer you are doing a Great Job and Service to our entire community. Many Thanks for your dedication. As far as ST3, I pre-ordered from SweetWater but, still not real sure if I/anyone will have it by the September issue...
