I just found out from Nomad Factory that you
can get the full Version (non-connected to Sonar X3) of
the Blue Tubes Bundle at a "crossgrade" price of 50% off the normal
price of $399... that be would $199.50....such a deal...

You have to write Nomad Factory to get the discount...

For $100 more you can get the NF Total Bundle from the Cake Store...

... or if $199 and $299 are still too steep ...

The Blue Tubes Bundle includes:
1. Blue Tubes Dynamics Pack - Nomad Factory Store $199
2. Blue Tubes Effects Pack - Nomad Factory Store $199
3. Blue Tubes Equalizers Pack - Nomad Factory Store $199
4. Blue Tubes Analog TrackBox - Nomad Factory Store $149
(Bundle price via Nomad Factory Store - $399)
Not part of Blue Tubes Bundle:
5. BlueVerb DRV-2080 - Nomad Factory Store $129

1-3,5 are included with Sonar X3 Studio
4 is added with with Sonar X3 Producer

As part of the Cakewalk Store Summer Friday Sales:
Sonar X3 Studio Upgrade 50% off - incredibly good price (for the next ~ 14 hours).
$49.50 - Upgrade from any version of SONAR (except LE)
$74.50 - Upgrade for any registered customer
(including, along with all the other bits, the Blue Tubes packs (1-3), worth a 'supposed' $597)
(and recognising the 'reality' of the $299 Total Bundle as per @cclary's post #2).

Yes, that's a great way to go...but my OP was speaking of
"disconnecting them" from Sonar...so you could use them
in any other DAW you wanted to...

Nomad plugs are good, but not good enough to buy twice.

Fair enough to both your comments ... but ...

@dubdisciple - Perhaps some people don't Sonar Studio(?)

@cclary - Can't you simply use the VST Plugins (dlls) in any DAW/host? (I haven't tried). Is it a license restriction?

I also recognised Studio/Producer also include BlueVerb DRV-2080 - added above.

******
[UPDATE]:
Yeah OK - Restricted to Sonar ...
I tried in Tracktion and MC6T ... Got a message for both:
This plug-in is only licensed to be used in Cakewalk Sonar X3 and above.
Internal processing will be bypassed and audio will pass through

Shell...no you can't...they are "tied" to Sonar....they won't run in any other host...
Hence the reason for the inquiry to NF....and I responded in kind telling them that
was ridiculous...when I could buy the Total Bundle for $299....and get just about
everything....

Ahh - it all makes sense now :).

Yup - noted re the Sonar restriction for Sonar packaged FX.
(Assumingly no restriction for the $299 Integral Bundle from the Cakewalk Store).
