watch it in hi def.

it is a short film for VideoWest.
It’s called Urban Falcons, and it’s about the peregrines that nest each year in downtown Salt Lake City.
Though it’s not like life in the wild, they return each year to the drastically altered landscape of the city,
and teach their young to fly.

Directed by Brian Grimmett
Produced by Doug Fabrizio & Elaine Clark

i've posted pics and stories in the past,
this is what me and the missus do every year,
volunteer to look after these birds as they fledge in downtown salt lake city.

njoy.

they are way cool to watch!

a little scary catching them, tho, when they go to ground.

we've taken the 3 birds 5 times each so far.....

they had to take the youngest one to rehab last night...
landed hard on a really tall building, and busted its beak up a bit...
they released it this morning, flying well so far
