My brother the tax assessor and his wife the teacher were in town from Florida a few weeks ago and we went to see Jersey Boys.
He walks up to the ticket window and asks for 2 senior and a non-senior ticket. I have yet to attain that lofty status.
She rang up 3 senior tickets. When we went into the auditorium, I could see why: it looked like they just assumed everyone that went to that flick was a senior.
It was a good movie. I enjoyed it, although there were a few places where the lip-synching wasn't quite synched. And who knew they were such a bunch of hooligans when they were young?
Brats.

Heard the movie is excellent. Plan to see it soon.

I grew up in Northern NJ.  Many of my friends had family members that were connected to the mob. I heard many a tale how certain businesses were controlled by organized crime.  Stories regarding the music industry came up quite frequently.

The Four Seasons were VERY popular at that time and I remember hearing things about their involvement with some of these families.

Times were so innocent back then most of the stories were thought to be hyperbole.
