S-GEAR v2.4 is released on 15th July 2014 and is a free upgrade for existing S-GEAR customers!
The release offers a brand new amplifier, the Custom '57, along with an updated ProConvolver offering new cabinet models, updated impulse loader and several other improvements.

The Custom '57 is the new amp in S-GEAR and is inspired by the favourite Tweed amps from the late '50s. The control line-up is very simple and dialling in great vintage tones is effortless and fun.  See the Custom '57 product page for more information and sound clips.

I'm psyched about this so I can use redwirez more easily.  S-Gear is the amp sim I always wind up going to.

I was hoping he'd bring back the ability to set a dedicated user output level other than 0db.
(unless I missed it)

Just finish a test drive of the Custom 57.  Really like it.  Transparent; allows the guitar's pickups and setting to come through, yet has that wonderful 57 like breakup.  Scuffham also gave us a 12A125 IR for that classic jensen breakup.  This is a fun amp to play.

what kind of CPU hit do you guys get with S-gear?  I am seeing 25% CPU usage with one instance in Cubase at even high latency setting on my RME.
