Pedro, you really need to get over that.  if they're not interested in being hired by you as a tutor, then you shouldn't bring it up in a public forum every chance you get.  that's harrassment.
I"m sure the reasons they have for not wanting to tutor you are valid to them and that's all that matters.  let it go and stop this passive aggressive behavior.

As I told him originally (in a PM), I haven't used any synth in years and would have to do exactly the same thing he should be doing: Find a manual or training video and figure it out.  If it was something I actually knew, I'd just show him how, I don't charge for that type of stuff.  Heck, right now, I'm a guitarist without a guitar!  My priorities are training myself for current work and getting a business off the ground.

I've decided that since I will never really use my ADK laptop DAW for remote recording (original intent) it's probably time to sell it.

Paid $2480 (before adding the extra HDs). What should I ask? I was thinking $1300 and throwing in a Cakewalk UA-1G audio interface and an SKB travel case (which surrounds the entire unit in 2" of foam). All original install discs included.

This is a good example why we should have a Classified/For Sale Section here in the forums for anyone wishing to sell their products. I know I cold trust people in here much more than the other forums, and there's also a common factor that the majority of us use Sonar (compatibility issues can be minimized) in here.
