Well hi everyone!  :)  I had to stop and think of my user name and password.  It's been awhile.  I guess I never did say that I did indeed build a tall desk and got a tall bar stool.  I either sit at it or stand at it.  It's still not perfect, but it's better than hunching over the kitchen counter.  I just put my laptop on it though.  My DAW is languishing all by itself up in my office.  Maybe some day.  Anyway, carry on!  :)

The Lifehacker blog has featured some good desk setups over the years, including standing desks. If you just search for "Lifehacker standing desks" there'll be a few things come up. My friend has a treadmill desk set up in his office - I want one! 

I remember when I first saw those advertised:  $6000!  My husband found a treadmill recently for $10 and made his own.  It's not adjustable, but he can move his laptop when he wants to sit down.  :)  

Hey....Janet's back! It's been a while, nice to hear from you again. I'm not sure that I could multitask enough to have a tread mill/ desk combo.
