Looks like that code is tied to an email address or no longer valid. Bummer, looks like a good deal!

When I tried to use the code, it said my email address wasn't authorized for the discount code...

I appreciate you trying though! :)

Were you logged in?  It wasn't an email code...it came from their web site...
There is also a code right on the product page that reduces it by 10%...

James, if I'm not mistaken, an SSD for your projects drive won't really improve much (if at all).....where it will really shine is if you use as your samples drive (and of course as a boot drive). All your samples will load extremely quicker and so much more faster than any conventional drive.
If you have a lot of samples (more than 400GB's), and funds permitting, you should get 2 of these.......you'll definitely see a HUGE speed improvement when loading samples.

I'm not a keyboard/samples guy, but would that include EZ Drummer 2, Superior Drummer 2, and BFD 3?

Yeah, those all have sound libraries. Since you don't have a lot of keyboard sounds that have huge libraries (Kontakt etc...), it may not affect your performance a whole lot (but still very fast) .
