Title says it all.  Can someone recommend an easy to use, no malware/candy program to burn "youtube" videos to a DVD that can be played in a DVD player.  Something not too expensive.  I tried a freeware program "freevid.com" but it burns a data DVD.  I can play it on the PC but not a DVD player.

My son's soccer team posted some games and their banquet on "youtube" and I want to send a copy to relatives.  I'm overwhelmed by the whole conversion options  avi. flv fob, mp4 ...... and scared of the horror stories about malware.  My HP windows 8 PC has Cyberlink media suite but I'd have to upgrade to do this. ($59.95) and I'm not 100% sure after the upgrade if  this functionality would be in the program.  The ad isn't clear to me.

I'm sure someone here can help.

Thanks slartabartfast,  that did the trick.  Originally I was a little upset that I only had one reply but if it's the correct one what else do you need.
