As I usually do, cut three or four CD-R's do some printing stuff for cover and liner etc., give a couple away, stick one up on the shelf with the other ones I have done, move on to the next one.
 
You could if you feel brave send it to Sound on Sound for a review, though I would not hold my breath, as good as your music is I think it is who you know where getting a review with them is concerned if you get my furry drift.
 
PS PM me and I could be interested in spending a few of the remaining pennies I have on a copy I would even pay P&P

Hi James, 
have you thought about passing on your new music to a local radio station ? or maybe even a college radio station ...
you also have music stores ( CD consignment ) , local newspaper , music rags , bars , pubs, local film students for possible placement in an indie film ...  
what about Tim ? he still does shows ? maybe he can sell a few or pass them on to  prospective allies

That is not so far fetched as you might imagine. Although the title of an individual book is not protected under copyright law, there is some protection granted under trademark law. The fact that you are making a record album using the title of and inspired by a book may actually make you more vulnerable to trademark infringement claims. In order to claim trademark protection as a title of a book per se, the work would need to be part of a series ("Masturbation for Dummies" would probably run afoul of this kind of protection), or to have achieved such a high level of public recognition that someone could be misled by the similarity ("Gone With the Wind" by Nobody Special). It is easier to obtain and defend a trademark for "related" materials than to get one for the book title itself. A T-shirt with the book title might be an obvious example, and especially if the author or his publisher has sold such an item or registered a trademark with the PTO. An album using the name, might well provoke a response. And since defense of a trademark requires that the holder actively police his rights by contesting any public infringement, and a letter costs little, you may well hear from the author. 
 
Note that like copyright you do not need to register a trademark in order to assert it, so even if the PTO database does not show a registration for the book title as a related album, you may still have trouble.

Pffft. Either way, you'd have a cool letter from the author. Win Win

I don't. But then I have done this to many of the literatii that were (and some are) around my dad and his work, and for the most part, you are compared to the kitchen sink, the cockroaches, or the rats a lot more than you are for what you said and did or wrote, or sang!

Oh, btw, this same thief used up several million of a donation from the Gulbenkien Foundation on people picked off the street in Dakar and Sweden and Argentina, to study Portuguese 101 and 102! That ought to further the study of Portuguese arts and literature that bring the students in!

Kevin Ayers - Gave permission to use his music on my film
 
Anthony Phillips - Allowed me to use his music for the Ygdrasil Journal of Poetic Arts issue of live readings. I read a poem over his music.
 
Gilly Smith - Shakti Yoni, is one of my secret dream folks with one of the nicest spirits of anyone I have ever met. Also a part of the Poetic Issue for Ygdrasil.
 
Favorite line EVAH from a musician .... Mike Howlett on his warmup and testing in Eugene, OR ... "is it too bassy?"
