Just got home from the ortho, I don't have to have surgery, a cast or those stinkin' crutches that Mrs Beagle has been making me use! I have a boot to wear for about 6 weeks, tho.

Oh, believe me I understand more than you know. I have had my own problems with ninja mischief. They've put new and used guitars in my studio, and on more than one occasion forced copious amounts of high quality bourbon down my gullet. The battle against them is seemingly endless. Guys like us need capes! Let me know if you want one. I've got extras.

Glad you don't have to get surgery Beagle. I hope you mend quickly. Oh, and I really enjoyed the story.

 I easily dispatched the first ninja with my right foot to an upper cut knocking him backward over my driveway and landing hard on his back in my wife's flower garden in the front yard.

When we built that we knew someday it would come in handy if you ever needed to dispatch a band of unruly ninjas.
I'l bet it left a mark.
