There has to be some sort of fix.

I'm looking at several years worth of old projects based on Kontakt 4 keys and organs and now they will not play unless I swap out the K4 instance to K5... OR remap the to the K4 libraries (which I'd like to do but...) and hose the K5 install.

It seem to be a specific issue with the Service Center licensing as I can see that it will only point the license to either the K4 or K5 library and doesn't offer an alternative for running side by side.

Whacky.

Painful.

Not a great way to end up a 12 hour run time upgrade session.

I hate when that happens....I know it would be tedious..but could you uninstall K5, reinstall K4,
and then reinstall K5 to get back to where you were before the udpates?  Just looking for "an out" here..

I wish I knew if this happened before or after the updates I did this morning.

In other words, if the box set install I did yesterday didn't do it and it was just this mornings updates I could go back and do it over again in a way that avoided the problem.

I'm spent... I think I'll have to surf the NI site in the next few days to see if there is a solution.

Just take a deep breath...relax...do some thinking...enjoy the 4th, and get back to when
you're "fresh".
