Why is it, in nearly every rental car I get, when I check the radio eq settings I find the bass turned up, the treble turned up AND the midrange turned up!!!??????   
 
(Not a rant, nor a pet peeve, just an observation.... make me wonder how few people have even a basic understanding of sound.)

'Cause that's the best way to hear an AM radio station.  DUH.

DUH.  turning them all up makes the radio go to 11.

I suppose it's something like.....a very few people are fine wine connoisseur's and the rest are just 2 buck chuck's.
