I'm now having a problem where any ACT configuration changes I make are not saved.  If I make some changes for a plugin, close Sonar, re-open Sonar then the ACT configuration changes I made have been lost.  Anyone else got this problem? :-(

Phil,

I could not reproduce that. I learned ACT controls for plugins from 3 different brands (IK, Line6, NI) and shut down Sonar without saving anything. Next time I used these plugs, ACT mapping was right there, same as previously set.

Mind you, I had some difficulties that I could not ACT learn one of the older IK plugs and Amplitube.

NI Guitar Rig didn't show turning faders on the GUI when turning rotaries on the VS-700, but after the Sonar restart, ACT settings were still there and all GUI knobs moved in sync with VS-700 rotaries.

Thanks for testing that FreeFlyBertl, I guessed that if it was a general problem other people would already be screaming...... I guess I'll try un-installing and re-installing, although I'm tempted to re-install X1 and ask for my upgrade money back........

Yeah I am not convinced about ACT yet... not sure a reinstall should be necessarry Phil....

Ok managed to fix it.  it appears that my genericpluginparams had somehow got corrupted.  I renamed the file, Sonar created a new file and ACT seems to work now.....

Great news Phil... might have to try that here. Cheers.

That explains why I wasn't having the problems. Brand new DAW here ... and I didn't transfer ACT mappings from the old DAW (although I had initially intended to)

CWBRN-13967: Documented transport functions not fully supported on VS-700C
- [SHIFT] + [PLAY]
- [ALT] + [PLAY]
Documented features not working:
[SHIFT] + [PLAY] does not do anything => "Audition"
[ALT] + [PLAY] does not do anything => "Play from Free Cursor"
See page 54 in VS-700 manual

Problem report was not fully accurate. Functionality is OK when not used with take lanes.
However, with take lanes functionality is not given. Even clip selection from VS-700 does not work.
