I wonder how a transgender child answers question #7?

Hmm...  Although I got what they were looking for, there were definitely some dumb questions on there and some of the exact things I have against IQ tests.  Plus, there's no way my IQ is what they say below based on 18 semi-relevant questions! Lucky for me my browser's blocking abilities prevented me from seeing the ads they really wanted to show.

Besides, everyone knows a better anagram of "Nearby Priests" would equate to a religious denomination anyway (Presbyterian).  It even makes a nicer analogy than someone who forgets to wear underwear in public...

Which ones did I get wrong?

The ones that lowered your score.

Coincidentally...

I fondly remember walking home from school one day when me old mate and fellow pupil Pistolpete came running over toward me a-cheering and a-whooping, waving a piece of paper in his hand.

"Hey Strummy" he called, "Take a look at this!"

"What's got you even more hyper-active than usual my simple friend" I replied.

"Well" he said, "I just got my best ever score ever! Look, I got an 'A' in my reading test!"

"Pete" I said, "That's an 'E'"

Although I was sure the answer to #18 was "bapu", but it wasn't one of the choices.

Hey Bit...would you PM me with the answers to the "water...paper clip" and the other word thingy? That's the only ones I had trouble with...I kept trying to use math to solve them but... No love. I just didn't step far enough back.

It's not a math based question My 'Ol Pal (and one of those that I always have a beef with since there's usually a legitimate alternate answer that can be logically defended).  You might want to think about items you need to do business now-a-days...

I've taken four actual IQ tests and I've never felt they mean too much.  Any question that requires having prior knowledge (like the anagram questions) are suspect in my mind because what if you've never been taught the mottos of the States?  Does that make you dumber?  Hardly.  I've only gotten one question wrong and I had (at least as far as I'm concerned) a very valid alternative answer.  Most IQ tests cap at 140 and the highest I've ever seen on either "real" tests or other online tests is 170.  The fact that you can miss some of the (only) 18 questions in this IQ test and still get over 170 is ridiculous.
