This does not scare me because every few years someone comes up with charts paralleling 1929 and now. It makes for good convo, but the financial world is so much different now.  We have actually had larger drops than 1929 and it do not have the same results.

It did drop some but came back up... however, it can't continue to just go up forever. One day the dollar will fall and everything will change. It is almost to 17,000 today. All on artificial FED Reserve manipulations IMO. That is what really scares me, our money is worth nothing more than the credit of the government, it has no inherent value and the FED keeps playing games. They have REALLY hurt the elderly who saved and have tried to supplement their income with interest. It is hard to live on 1% interest. It is badly corrupted.

The one advantage of not having anything in the first place is not having to worry about maybe losing it all.

That's why I have no self respect.
