Full disclosure...a month after that photo was taken I went to the tropics and cut my hair. So Kenny, I release you from your obligation to listen to me.

I use photobucket

This is going to take me weeks to finger out the significance of those to images.

Hint:

The second one looks a lot like a 60's tv star.

Thanks, sharke. I'll check it out.

Happily, my sig image has been restored now, via Photobucket. That formula has been a great ice-breaker over the years, motivating dozens of people to PM me asking what it is. I've met some great folks in the process.

Second test, looking for candidates to replace my dishonestly out-of-date avatar, a photo from c. 1995. Here's the most recent selfie I could find...

This gives me an idea...I could post a pic of me from 1985 and you guys might think I still have long hair! Bitflipper always has great ideas.

Great idea.  I could post from 1985--when I still had hair.

With that hair you could have gotten a job at Autodesk Dave!

Nice pic Dave...I use photobucket for most of my needs and I haven't had any problems.  I am leary of having images (or anything else) on a private server....in one case I was able too look at a lot more on a server than I should have been able to see...and I'm not a hacker...some private servers are way to easy to gain access to.

I use photobucket as well. However, if you have an open or public profile, people can see your pics. I believe you can make them private.

I also have pics stored in dropbox, another free cloud storage site. I use DB a lot here recently for collabing and sending song tracks back and forth. It's pretty handy and I can access it quicker than photobucket which takes longer to load. I also can access DB on my smart phone with the app to check out the pics or the files people send.
