Never loose this wonderful sense of humor Craig, I much admire you for how you are able to deal with things in the face of adversity.

It's just life telling me I wasn't meant to go in that direction.  I broke my playing arm the night after joining a friend's band on stage and after only playing "live" for about six months (took months for the nerve to regrow - stopped playing for many years).  That was a far more painful clue that I wasn't meant to be a rock star!
