Isn't imaging a drive generally used for only the OS/Programs (C: Drive), and the larger files (audio/samples) need to be backed up seperately?

True, but I was just suggesting/speculating/day dreaming that if everything was on one drive and image would negate re-installs. I'm not sure "need" to back up larger files is mandatory. I see the larger files being backed up less frequently.
