WaaaHaaa...love the face palm & deja view of it all.

However, this is still a serious issue and things change more often than passwords perhaps.

I have just opened new accounts in PayPal and have done a number of transactions.  Knowing tricks like no overdraft protection from my bank is critical, and appreciated.  I had been noticing when my PayPal balance gets low the option to go with the bank account is tempting.  But, one of the main reasons that account is being used is to keep these transactions completely separate.  I'd have some real issues separating them when gathering data for the accountant.

In my humble opinion, the marketplace of ideas needs to be revisited at times.  Give everyone a chance to upgrade their info and reflect old notes and ways of doing things.  I've learned much from reading about other people's bad experiences...and good.

Next thing you'll know, someone will post that eBay has been hacked or something!

I always use "incorrect" as my password.  That way, if I forget and type in something else, the site comes back with "Your password is incorrect." and I can go "Oh yeah."

So YOU'RE the one who stole my password(s)!

Julien - I have so many passwords that there's no way to remember them all, so I have a Word Document [Word Pad or Note Pad will also work].

Same here. I named it "passwords.doc" so hackers can find it easily when infiltrating my system.

I have a newer version of Office so my file is named "passwords.docx" (I feel much safer now).

Usually, spammers.
Speaking of forgotten........some of us even have given multiple replies to the the OP......(thinking it's the first time we're replying to the OP).......habitual offenders?
