that he is NOT a teenager anymore.

Sirrius/XM keeps re airing this really awful commercial with him in tight jeans and those silly (for his age) black Beta Bullets or Keds.
OK? This guy was born in 1952. I realize it is an act, pushing the "button" turning on all the satellite radios... but I don't know how to say it...

Beside that why is he hosting 80s music. At his age he should be doing a 60s or a 70s show. He is 6mos younger than I am and I know very well what people in my age group think of 80s music. You may love it and that is valid and fine but it belongs to a different demographic... that bothers me a little bit too but that "rebellious teenager" act is just disgustingly bad.

While I am at it I absolutely HATE the AT&T commercial with the five women (and one man?) realtors. The women decide and say "Let's close!" Then the guy? looks at the women's stance and then assumes a similar stance. It is sexist and degrading.

Is anyone in Cleveland? Can you stop by the RnR HOF and speak to Mr. Goodman. Tell him how silly this makes him look. This act died with Dick Clark... sorry.

Rant over...

Interestingly, in his pre-MTV days when he was working at WMMR in Philadelphia he was one of my favorite DJ's, as he was a huge Who fan and would sometimes play blocks of Who music for no particular reason.

DJ's could still do stuff like that on occasion in those days.

That sound's right... The WHO. My Generation (his generation).

This commercial really gets under my skin, I guess I  shouldn't let it bother me but it just makes my skin crawl. I just can't believe they are airing something so stupid, my guess is they are REALLY being hurt by Spotify and Pandora... and iPhones/iPods that now play via Bluetooth through car stereos... like MINE. I either listen to talk radio or Spotify in my truck.

I didn't either Craig, I had to look him up... it is just the whole "turkey neck grey haired old guy" acting like a 13 year old. I don't know... it's just creepy to me.

It's not like he hasn't been doing exactly that since, well, the 80s.
