Milli Vanilli can match any range listed there.

There has GOT to be someone more deserving of the top slot than Axl Rose.

Just listened to him on YouTube - man, that low note he hits must be pretty close to the brown note. ;)

Hey wow!  I just realized I can also hit the low-E that got him the job singing with a Russian choir for De Profundis.  Of course, Tim can go two octaves farther down (and nobody wants to hear me sing - lol).

BTW - There ARE exercises to help improve your "low end" (if you will).  For years I've used one called the King Kong exercise to help with my voice-overs and when I have to speak (like when I run dart tournaments).  What you do is start at a comfortable LOW note and sing "King Kong" then, even lower, "Bing Bong" and, finally, lower still, "Ding Dong."  Then change up the order.  I do this when I'm driving so people don't think I'm crazier than I already am and you can really get things rumbling when you do Bing Bong as the lowest note.  Each one stretches your vocal chords so it's a great warm-up before speaking.

That list is suspect to me. Where's Roy Obison?

I don't think the list claims to be comprehensive or contain the absolute top people when it comes to range.

Way down the list, just above Janis Joplin. Seems odd, that.

The list...glad I didn't make it. CH dregs I guess.
To many not included with many octave (natural) voice ranges.

When I didn't see Diva Plavalaguna I lost all interest...
not to mention Linda Ronstadt.
