Obi,
Can I import sfz files into ST3?

SampleTank 3 does not import sfz files.  I have relayed your question as a request, though.

Thanks. I will be very nice to have that feature. I don't speak for everyone in this forum. But I do believe a lot of folks here have sfz files too.
I have tons of that from Dimension Pro and Computer magazine. I wish to use those in a sampler player in an expressive way.

Use alchemy player or alchemy. Very powerful and expressive.

Glad you find such glee in that and still show interest in following SampleTank 3 threads.  I have no problem with other products on the market, and the Camel folks I know are quite talented and great people so hats off to them too.  There's more than enough room :)

Let me know if you decide to order, we've had a lot of people who "swore off" IK or ST3 on board already, so there's also plenty of room there too :)  The link is SampleTank 3 coming in July if you change your mind.

SynthMaster plays sfz files too.

Again, If you do decide to purchase ST3, Pre-order from a retailer like Sweetwater as they will not be using your money until your product is available and they are Great people to deal with.

If you order directly from IK you will be charged immediately. Your choice...

Yes, you can import your previous Powered By SampleTank compatible libraries like those.

For many years, I resisted buying a smartphone. The data plans were like highway robbery (we are larger than the average nuclear family), and I felt I already had enough tech to keep me happy and busy between studio and day-job.

During those years I suffered when the 32-bit ST2 would crash SONAR, all the while IKM rubbed salt in the wound piling iOS products higher and deeper. But crash after crash I trudged on, from one SONAR version-up to the next, because the sounds I got (and how quickly) with ST2 kept bringing me back. That, and my beloved combi's that I had been collecting all those years, in between crashes, that is. (The reader will kindly note that running SONAR in 32-bit mode is not considered here, nor will it be, nor has it, for many, many years.)

This month, I picked up a smartphone (had to - my wife's dumb phone croaked and we always get the same style phones to scale the learning curve together). And tonight, I ordered ST3. Coincidence? Providence? We shall see.

No smart phone here! But I did ante up for ST3. ST2 would not run for me even at 32 in X2.
