I would love to go to Cooters unfortunately my car won't make it over the bridge. We would have to push it over.

I see one connector loose.
The only thing I have is replacing HD but nothing about adding one.

11-14 are your sata connectors, which one(s) are vacant???

your new hd should have come with a sata cable to plug from the drive into the mother board.

there should be a spare power connector inside the chassis

there is an open bay underneath the dvd drive, should be plastic mounting rails in there

mount the drive in the bay
plug in the sata and power connectors
boot up in F2 Bios mode, look for additional hd make sure its recognized
windowz computer management
right click on computer icom on ur desktop
select manage
select disk management
you should see new drive
may have to format it use same settings as existing drive NTFS partition whole drive make active

the d is a partition on the existing c drive
so your next drive letter assignment would b F BUT you can assign any letter from F-Z to the drive
HOW MANY SATA CABLES ARE PLUGGED IN NOW TO THE MB???
