I'm curious to hear how your upgrade to EZdrummer 2 is working out? Is it better then the first? Should I go for it? Comments and opinions? Thx, Ken

I've got a song up right now in the song forums where I have updated an old tune with the new EZD2 basic DW kit. You might check that out for how it sounds.

Heck yeah it's better.  I wouldn't be without the new Tap to Find search feature.  There's a demo available to try out.

I love it, but I'm not working on old projects that have a bunch of synths inserted. EZD2 is a huge step up from EZD1. Huge.

Yes, get rid of that heavy burden.  ;)

The new sounds are worth the upgrade...as it is like a pair of expansion packs, getting the modern and vintage kits.

Why? It's so simple to overcome. See THIS

I agree..it's heads above EZ1...just for the SongCreator, Tap to Find, Play Editor, and the new kits...

All the EZX's use the same EZ1 samples, they only have new presets and new graphics, but the new engine does
make them sound a little better.  Soundwise I still feel that AD2 sounds better, but for Song Writers
who need to create MIDI drums in  a hurry, EZ2 makes it VERY EZ....

Most definitely worth the money to upgrade...just for the Song Creator alone...
