I heard the cat meowing yesterday at the back door, as usual to come in. I noticed her voice sounded a little deep, looked out and saw she had something in her mouth. I had NO IDEA it was a live chipmunk... she came in the door and released it. It ran under the furniture, finally out into the dining room under a hutch, then across the foyer behind a dough bowl, finally to the stairs where she ran it into a large aquarium net I was holding. I tossed it out the front door. Fluffy was out the door so fast I didn't see her go... but chippy made it to his hole before she got him again.
I am glad cbow wasn't here... it would have been a major crisis then replete with screaming and jumping up on the furniture. You know the word hysteria comes from the same root word that hysterectomy comes from...
