I agree bat. I can program drums w/fingers, playing pads, or live drums that trigger (or not). If I couldn't, I would be jumping on the EZD2 wagon now. I really hope that SD3 will be out sometime this year and want my budget $ to go toward that upgrade.

What are you expecting from SD3?
For me, I'd like better kit construction and movable kit pieces in the mixer. Beyond that, not much more. But I'm a simpleton.

For SD3, I would like to see a larger (bigger) user interface. The mixer is way too small for my eyes. I would also like to be able to pull in additional instruments without using XDrum. I know how to use XDrum but it would be great to just select an instrument (cymbal, tom, snare) from a complete list and drag it into the kit. I would also like some basic percussion (tamborine and claps) as part of the basic system (AD has that feature).
I think the audio bounce options are good but it would be useful to have the bounced audio track auto populate tracks in your DAW instead of having to bring them in like any other audio clip.
These issues are on my most wanted list.
