Mayflower is where I lived as a toddler. Until Sunday night I could still see our little frame house by the highway running just parallel to the interstate every time I drove up to Conway...where I grew up. Now it's just a small concrete slab. Hope the folks living there now made it out OK. All my dad's and mom's family are from there. So far...no injuries or deaths reported. But the property loss is staggering. We're about 15 miles south here in LR and when the sirens went off the storm passed us about two miles west heading northeast. We're halfway accustomed to the watches, warnings and sirens. And we got hit ourselves a few years back. But things do seem to be getting worse.
