These were mine for a couple of decades.

For the last 15 years though, I've been using these.

I started w/ these.

They slipped through your fingers and didn't seem to put up w/ metal strings too well... But I had 3 or 4 and I had to treat them as if they were made of diamond because we were rather poor I guess.
Come to think of it, the individual strings I used to buy were also Gibson.
Heck, I even had a Gibson belt buckle.
But in the early 80s, Gibson wasn't too glamorous...

Do people choose picks by color? I know I do. Just try to find a black pick on a darkened stage.

It's probably because I am not a guitarist, and I prefer light-gauge plectra, but my picks tend to go airborne. So I buy white picks exclusively so I can more easily pick them up from the floor.

Oh yes..I could swear the orange picks play better..doesn't matter what the thickness is.

And the green and yellow M&Ms taste better.

I used to use transparent ones.

I didn't know that Dunlop had so many type picks. I guess when I go to GC around here this is what you get, or something similiar:

They call them "Red" picks. But also called "pink", and Gator Grip!
Gator! (P.S. they are not that grippy though.)

and actually I think I want 0.48mm picks.

I've used those big chunky Stubbys for 20 years, but it always bothered me how quickly I wear down the tip. Recently discovered you can buy NYLON Stubbys which last a lot longer! Also, they make less of a "plink" sound. So that's my pick brand sorted for the next 20 years at least. Can't use anything else now, regular picks just seem so inferior.
