Sorry, Carl! I just posted about the sale. I didn't see yours. Anyway, I got it. I will post my results when I can find time to try it out.

I haven't ever saved a Sonar project in this format. I guess Sonar is capable? This might be a very good piece to pick up if it keeps the user from having to export every single track for Mixbus. Looking forward to a quick revue.

I'm very interested as well. I might just have to buy it since the sale is only till Sunday. Hopefully Sidroe will be able to test it in the next couple days though, so we can know for sure how it works.

IIRC X3 has issues with larger projects.
I use miXbus for mixing/ mastering stems so it might work for my needs.

I don't understand this plug. You can import stems without it so what's the big deal. Unless I'm missing something.

It will save you the time of having to export stems and then import them back into Mixbus...
Just save your project in one of those formats and import the project straight into Mixbus...

Time saver....

The advantage of OMF as opposed to stems is you can export in one much quicker single step that preserves the structure of your entire session, including light edits like trims and fades intact. Be warned that OMF can be tricky. The more processing done to mix the better chance of failure to export.

I bought it first thing this morning. I'm running X3e 64 bit in Windows 8.1. I threw in a project in X3, exported all tracks as an OMF. Xchange runs in the background when you open Mixbus. You click to Open Session on the Xchange window that comes up. Locate your OMF, click open, and Mixbus opens up with all tracks in place!
This is so dead easy it's not funny.
You will be prompted when Xchange starts up to register or keep evaluating for thirty days. Click register and write down all pertinent info because you will be ask for it to register on line. Also, be sure to print out your e-mail with the order number because you will be asked for that as well. About 15 minutes later I received an e-mail from Harrison asking was I sure that I wanted to register. They wanted to make sure I had ample time with the program to be sure I wanted it. I responded that I absolutely was sold on this program and proceed with my registration.
While the registration process is somewhat convoluted, it is rather easy if you follow my instructions.
This is, in my opinion, a must have if you intend to use Mixbus with Sonar or any other DAW that exports OMF or AAF files. I don't see how they could have made it much easier to use.
