Even more cool, tho I don't celebrate, is that it was also on my birthday. All 3 events on the same day definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The pics weren't bad, but they could have been better. I made a mini poster out of them:
What would have been even more cool is if the eclipse and aurora had overlapped each other so I could get them in the same (tho off focused) shot. I have yet to ever see that happen. If not impossible I've probably already missed it.
