Is that a PRS?

Spalted Maple top. Very pretty.

Wow indeed!  I think I'd spend more time staring into the top than playing it.
(Ok, maybe not, but still...) 

You jest, ol pal, but when I had my PRS Custom 24 Artist I had that very problem.  I simply did not want to ever take it to a gig.  I didn't want anything to happen to it at all.  Luckily I also came to realize I didn't really like playing it that much either and sold it to my best bud...who has since sold it to someone else.  Was mighty pretty though.  But not as pretty as that spalted maple above.  Sheesh, that's beeeeeeuuuuuuteeeeful!!

as amazing as that guitar looks ,
I can assure you that it sounds exactly like any other guitar just sitting there in the case
