I can't believe there's no Win 8 X64 driver for the VS-100 yet.  Has anybody found a successful work-around for Win 8 X64, yet?

Hello,

maybe I will test it again, but it's really unlucky that there's no driver for Win8 yet, although there's no newer unit from Cakewalk making sense to stop supporting the older ones.
I think it's the same thing with the big console VS-700. These user will be unlucky too.

Hi,

no answer yet.

I'm still waiting - the VS-100 is my last hardware without Windows 8 - drivers!

Big shame for Roland Company, İ am asking a question to myself; İs there a problem with vstudio and windows 8, so they can not make a suitable driver yet?

Hello,

than the Problem must be the same as for the VS-20 and the VS-700 - there are also no Drivers yet.
I don't know, but want to know.

The fact that we can make it work, by following the instructions as I linked above, leads me to believe that support is quite possible.  I just don't understand why it's taking them so long.

Hello,

I got an mail from Roland Support in Germany with the same answer, that they (Roland Japan) are working hard for developing the drivers. But they can't say when they will be ready.

I´m still waiting ... .
Does anyone know something new? Maybe also a new Firmware-Update?
