 I have tried different coping strategies to try and keep my blood pressure down on the highway. 
I had to change my expectations  to almost zero and then tell myself that while what happens isn't anticipated it's expected....even then though sometimes I get a curve ball. I could close my eyes but I'm not trained in the art of blind driving.

I see a lot of people doing that everyday. The Force was not quite as strong in them as they thought it was.

That's the pseudo Force.  The dork side, if you will.

Ask him if the coffee was coffee before its constituent atoms came together. Did it pre-exist in a nascent state or did it only become itself once in a recognizable form? Does its coffee-ness extend forward and backward in time beyond our ability to perceive it as coffee?

If the coffee did pre-exist, would you get a feeling of deja brew?  

Up here drivers go through this routine wherein Spring comes and out come the extension cab 4x4's all polished up and shiny and all poking their snouts up the behind of the poor sot who happens along....
 
It is so trying to ignore these louts...

I drank some pre-existing coffee this morning. 
 
I may be sleepy today, but I'm wide awake yesterday.

I opted to go inside as I wanted to make my coffee, but as soon as I wakled in, I thought the drive-thru may have been the better option....
 
1) Scooter's sister was working the register
2) Place my order (coffee and a samich)
3) Paid and got short changed
4) While making the coffee and waiting for my samich, she says they're out of this samich
5) Went back in line, looking through the available options, and order an alternate
6) Ordered the alternate, but didn't get the money for the price difference
7) Brought it to her attention (Scooter's sister)
8) Had to call the Mgr. (Scooter)
9) Scooter asked me for a receipt and I said I didn't get one
10) He looked it up in the system and finally found it
11) Gave the refund and apologized
 
I may have been happier being in my sleepy state......
